In 5 days, on the 25th of March, we, Greeks around the world, celebrate the 200 years since the outbreak of the Greek Revolution of 1821 and the War of Independence.
Bicentennial, such a key historical event, is both
- an occasion to recognize the struggles and sacrifices of our people while
- an occasion to think on the present-day position of our country and its future
All of us, where ever we are, have a historic and moral duty to contribute to this celebration. That is why I am giving you here the Agenda of the commemorative celebrations hoping to attract your attention and long to learn more about.
By my side, I can contribute, apart from expressing how proud I am for my nationality, by uploading, the next week, posts based only on the colors of my country, thus blue and white!
I hope you will enjoy them and Ι will manage to get a rise out of you! You see, I strongly believe that my country has the richest and most multifarious history in the whole world and merits your attention.
