You may all know the Central-Northern European traditional “koulouri” named Pretzel …. But, if you ever come across to a pretzel with sesame seeds, do not hesitate and grab it! Why? Simply, salt flakes with sesame seeds and soft texture … unique combination and taste.
Original pretzel is a fluffy bread with a hard, brown, shiny surface, spread with salt crystals that definitely add taste. Since pretzel is a perfect snack for any hour of the day, you can have it in huge variety of tastes, plain or as sandwich.
My favorite is (obviously) with sesame seeds! It combines the salty and sweet flavor, it is nutritious (you see sesame is rich in vitamin B and dietary minerals such as iron, magnesium, calcium etc. and low in fat and calories) and satisfies your appetite easily and with no negative health effects. Sometimes you may be lucky enough to get a smiley one (like mine) and cheer yourself up.
Enjoy!

No matter if they name it pretzel. No matter if the shape is like pretzel. No matter if I bought it in a traditional Swiss bakery instead of an outdoor “koulourtzi” in the middle of the pavement. The taste that flooded my mouth was telling me one word: Koulouri!
Nice post! Well done! 🙂
A comment from someone with such good taste is worth a lot! Thank you 🙂 🙂 🙂
